We are so excited to welcome you to a brand new volume of Painting with Fire.
What began as a celebration of encaustic has grown into something much larger: a global gathering of artists, teachers, and creative explorers who share a love of material, process, and discovery. Each year our community deepens, and this new volume opens the door even wider.
For the very first time, Painting with Fire expands beyond encaustic to include lessons from internationally recognised Oil and Cold Wax artists.
These remarkable instructors bring their own rich approaches to surface, texture, and layering, creating exciting new conversations between wax, oil, pigment, and process.
This year we are honoured to feature 29 inspiring teachers, including 18 artists joining the program for the first time. Together they offer a beautiful range of perspectives, techniques, and creative philosophies that will nourish and expand your practice.
Over the coming months, you will be invited into studios around the world through thoughtful demonstrations, material explorations, and generous conversations about the creative life. Whether you are working in encaustic, oil and cold wax, mixed media, or simply feel called to explore, this program is designed to meet you where you are and gently open new doors.

Painting with Fire welcomes artists at many stages of their creative journey. Some participants have been working with wax for decades. Others arrive curious, eager to deepen their practice or explore new materials.
This program is especially loved by artists who value time, reflection, and thoughtful exploration over fast results. Many in our community are in a season of life where creativity has become essential.. a place of meaning, expression, and connection.

What You’ll Experience
Over the course of the program, you will step inside the studios of 29 remarkable artists from around the world, each bringing their own voice, process, and philosophy to the work.
Each session invites you not only to learn techniques, but to see how different artists approach materials, intuition, composition, and meaning in their work.
It is a rare opportunity to learn directly from so many inspiring voices in one place.
